The
Christ figure is a direct copy from Salvadore Dali's St.
John's vision of Christ on the cross' but painted in blue
tones.
I
noticed that the shape of the crucified body resembles
the shape of a uterus which instantly brings together
the ideas of life, death and rebirth or being born again.
The
blood of christ becomes menstral blood, and the new dawn
on the horizon echoes the theme of cycles.
